Few bands today embrace their own individualism and craft something unique and genre-defying, yet Nachtmystium do just that with every new endeavor, and 'Silence Machine' is no different. This album is an absolute monster of vital and forward-thinking black metal, very much meeting the expectations everyone had for them after they set the bar high with the two-part 'Black Meddle' albums before this.
